PRE PUNCTION APPLICATIONS...
This product is installed by removing the valve core and injecting the required amount either via a 25 litre drum with hand pump or by various size bottles available.
As the wheel rotates DRIVE ON TYRE SEALANT is evenly distributed across the inner crown area of the tyre.
When a foreign object penetrates the tyre casing air pressure from within the tyre forces the product into the wound to seal and reduce the risk of air loss. By sealing the puncture as it occurs you maintain tyre pressure therefore eliminating the possibility of tyre failure, due to excessive heat build from under inflation.
If the tyre has suffered large impact damage then the product is designed to reduce the rate of air loss therefore being able to bring the vehicle to a stop in a controlled manner and eliminate the risk of tyre failure.
DRIVE ON TYRE SEALANT CAR is a water based puncture prevention so therefore it can be washed out with just water and repaired to relevant standards BS 159
POST PUNCTURE APPLICATIONS...
Post puncture repair is when the tyre has suffered a puncture and a temporary method of repair is required, injecting the product into the tyre will enable you to continue your journey or to a place to source a replacement tyre.
Providing the tyre has not suffered severe run flat damage the product can be used as a temporary get you home measure.
By removing tyre valve core and injecting the contents of the bottle into the tyre, Re fit the valve core and inflate to recommended pressure, as the wheel rotates the product will be distributed across the tyre tread surface where the air pressure will force the product into the relevent puncture wound to give a temporary seal to enable you to continue or journey or source a replacement tyre.
